Thursday Night Kyle (#11) played with the younger, old men (the 18-34 year old group). This is a far better team than the older group he played with last week, as was clearly evident as they scored nearly 20 points before the other team scored. For Kyle the game was a bit of a struggle, as he had been fighting seizures througout the day. The seizures cause enough disruption in coordination to make shooting less accurate and other aspects of the game more difficult, but not enough of a disruption to not play. The game was made more fun with the Bishop (#31) playing also. His son, who just turned 18, begged his dad to play with him. So for the first time since his front tooth was knocked out in a church basketball game when he was a teenager, Bishop suited up and stepped on the court. With his son working to feed him the ball, he finally put one through much to the delight of the crowd which consisted mostly of his family coming out to see the spectacle.
