Alexis Runs in Her First Indoor Track Meet

Saturday January 10th Alexis competed in her first indoor track meet at Utah State University in Logan. Indoor track is a club sport at Bingham High School so there is no varsity or JV, just a group of kids that run, and coaches who volunteer. She ran the 4x800 relay with a split of 3:01; then she ran the mile in 6:51. While she is disappointed with these times, it is the start of the season and she hasn't done serious training for over a month, and she is one who needs to train to be fast. Her next meet is this Saturday at BYU.
